Allen & Belle Air Community School Family Invites

  • 2nd Harvest: Monthly food drive service for the SBPSD community from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The dates are August 28, September 25, October 23, November 27, December 18, January 22, February 26, March 26, April 23, May 28, and June 25.

  • Ghassan Shamieh, Attorney at Law: Quarterly immigration workshops for the SBPSD community on September 25th, December 18th, February 26th, and May 28th, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Child care and dinner will be provided at Belle Air Community Center.

  • San Mateo Adult Education (ESL classes): Daily ELL classes for the SBPSD community from 9:00 AM to 11:45 AM. Night classes will be on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

  • YMCA Outreach and Connection Program Liaison: Biweekly on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, with case management appointments providing community resources, financial empowerment, mental health and wellness, and housing assistance. The dates are September 18, October 2 and 16, November 6 and 20, December 4 and 18, January 8 and 22, February 5 and 19, March 5 and 19, April 9 and 23, May 6 and 20, and June 4 and 11.

  • Financial Empowerment Workshop: Held at Belle Air Elementary on November 20, December 18, and January 15, from 9:00 to 10:30 AM.

  • YMCA Wellness Workshop: Every Thursday from 8:30 - 10:30 AM. Open to all Belle Air and Allen Elementary parents on November 7, 14, 21, December 5, and 12, held at Belle Air Elementary School. This interactive workshop builds community, promotes wellness, and strengthens parent connections. View flyer in Spanish.

  • Peninsula Food Runners: Food drive every Monday & Tuesday at noon for Belle Air, Allen Elementary, and community families at the Belle Air campus.

  • Project Read Literacy Wheels Library and Story Truck: A free book for each child and teacher, with story time for each preschool and Transitional Kindergarten student at the Belle Air and Allen Elementary campuses.

  • Mobilize Love: Paused for now until the spring. We will notify you when it returns. View more here.

  • Clothing & Hygiene Pantry: Available to the community at the Belle Air campus.

  • San Mateo Public Library: Provides daily after school academic support at the library for San Bruno Park School Students

  • StarVista: Counseling services for students and parent workshops on topics like suicide, bullying, depression, and gender issues. A therapist is on campus Monday, Tuesday and Friday. A Family Partner is on campus Wednesdays and Thursdays at Belle Air Elementary.
