Child Nutrition
Operating under the umbrella of the Business Department, San Bruno Park School District's Food and Nutrition Services Department is made up of a team of professionals dedicated to promoting student wellness and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices. We have a cafeteria at each site.
Meals, foods and beverages served in our school cafeterias meet all State and Federal requirements base on the USDA Dietary Guidelines.
Information on the Earned Income Tax Credit Information Act
In SY 23-24 San Bruno Park is participating in Provision 2.
Provision 2 requires that the school serve meals to participating children at no charge but reduces application burdens to once every four years. It also simplifies meal counting and claiming procedures by allowing a school to receive meal reimbursement based on claiming percentages.
